I love this Christmas song. It reminds me of being little and watching the Sesame Street Christmas Special (from the early 1980's mind you) where Bert and Ernie ice skate to this song.
I loved ice skating. At 4 years old I was certain that I would grow up to be the next Katerina Witt (a non-communist version) and win Olympic Gold medals. Alas, I grew up a bit too much, and became to tall for the sport. But my love of ice skating, Bert & Ernie and Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" lives on.
